• Unlike neoprene, the non-binding, lightweight, breathable knit remains cool and moves with the body for maximum comfort

• When active, the unique viscoelastic insert with absorbent, soft terrycloth lining, provides an intermittent massage to help reduce pain and swelling

• Silicone heel-wedge is incorporated in the support to raise the heel for pain relief of the Achilles tendon
• Additional heel-wedge provided for the unaffected foot to prevent leg length discrepancies.

The AchilloTrain support has a heel cushion built in to take pressure off the Achilles tendon. Every AchilloTrain product comes with an extra heel cushion for the unaffected foot. This is to keep one leg from being longer than the other which would cause a person to walk abnormally and create other biomechanical problems (back pain, joint pain, etc.). Q. Is there a difference between AchilloTrain and AchilloTrain Pro? A. Yes. The AchilloTrain Pro has longer knit, which is more suitable for athletes. AchilloTrain Pro also does not feature a heel cup. The AchilloTrain is more suitable for recovering patients and features a removable heel cup.
